We retcon it so that Brutus is with us. Antimony Dawnfyre is following the group still and see them dart down an alleyway. Antimony follows them but loses them at a spot where there is a door, a sewer grate and a dumpster. Antimony stabs at the dumpster and doesnt find anyone. The rest of the group arrives. Quentin helps look around and sees that they went into the sewer grate.
We move the grate out of the way and jump down into the sewers. Unfortunately Quentin and Belvedere do poorly on their dex rolls and fall into the sewer water as they jump down.
We move forward, following some footsteps we can see in the dirt and water on the ground. Antimony and Marigold lead the line through the sewer until we run into combat. A slimy, watery tentacle lashes out and tries to grab Belvedere by the leg. Combat begins against a Water Weird (modified to be a sewer weird). Belvedere is dragged under the water by the monster but is able to break free. We defeat it, clean off, and continue down the sewer way.
We stealthily continue on, following the footprints down a hallway and to a locked door. We were loud in our last combat so the enemies in the next room were expecting us. As we come into the doorway, they jump us and we fight. They are the guy that came from the theater and the 2 people he met up with in the alleyway. We kill one of the alleyway guys and non-lethally hit the other one.
We tie the two up, then wake them up and talk to them to interrogate them. Quentin casts Zone of Truth.
Why did you leave the theater? Boss told me to check on everything

Do either of you have families that care about you? Muscley guy says “i hope so” caster says yes
Who is organizing these thefts and how long have you been doing it for? They do the thefts at the start of their visits for a play, then spend time selling the items to local criminals and fences to get gold before they move on.

How did you get into this? Actors don’t get paid a lot of money
How are you involved in this? I help find the local muscle and an actor (the vampire Elijah in the play)
Does the play suck? the play is good
Then just rely on the play. you should get more money from sponsors. Rich people love donating money to things so that they feel better about themselves (Belvedere speaking, haha)

Why are you here? To help transfer the gold to the theater with the local muscle I hired. I’m just a liasion.

The plan:
We take Crael and AJ (Alive Jeff) to Belvedere’s house to hide them for the evening. We then go to the theater tomorrow morning to confront Ailwin and hopefully learn more about their organization and actions. We can use the fact we know where the stolen stuff is at and can tell Rex about it as blackmail.
